1 Common materials for steel structure of LED display screen

 

a. Square tube:

  • Introduction: light thin-walled steel pipe with hollow square section

  • Advantages: comprehensive mechanical properties, welding performance, cold and hot processing, qualified corrosion resistance and good toughness

  • Dimensions: length * width * thickness, such as 60mm * 40MM * 3mm, 40mm * 40MM * 3mm, 50mm * 20MM * 3mm

  • Usage: main structure, edge wrapping structure, welded column structure, etc

 

b. LED display channel steel:

  • Introduction: long strip steel with groove section

  • Advantages: according to mechanical properties, welding properties, riveting properties, cold and hot processing and corrosion resistance, channel steel has good toughness

  • Dimension: height * width * thickness, for example: 10# channel steel 100mm * 48mm * 5.3mm

  • Usage: main structure, welded column, etc

 

c. H steel:

  • Introduction: long strip steel with H-shaped section

  • Advantages: combined with mechanical properties, welding properties, riveting properties, cold and hot processing and corrosion resistance, it has good toughness

  • Dimensions: wide flange H-section steel (HW)

  • Height * width, for example: hw100 * 100

  • Usage: main bearing beam, welded column, etc

 

d. Welded round pipe:

  • Introduction: the shape of LED display screen is long strip steel with concentric ring

  • Advantages: good combination of mechanical properties and welding properties

  • Dimension: outer diameter * wall thickness, as shown in: Φ 730 * 10mm and other models

  • Usage: used for internal reinforcement of column and screen, etc

 

2 Edging decorative frame material

 

a. Aluminum plastic plate:

  • Introduction: aluminum plastic plate for LED display screen is a composite material processed on special aluminum plastic plate production equipment with chemically treated coated aluminum plate as surface material and polyethylene plastic as core material.

  • Advantages: luxury, colorful decoration, weather resistance, corrosion resistance, wound resistance, fire prevention, moisture resistance, sound insulation, heat insulation and earthquake resistance; Light weight, easy processing and molding, easy handling and installation

 

b. Stainless steel:

  • Introduction: stainless steel is resistant to air, steam and water, weak corrosive medium and stainless steel.

  • Advantages: luxury, colorful decoration, solid and durable structure, not easy to scale and easy to clean.

  • Disadvantages: high cost, difficult to process and modify on site.

 

3 Steel structure design scheme of LED display screen

 

1)         Installation introduction: the convenience of installation and maintenance shall be considered in the structural design, such as maintenance channel, line passage, etc

2)         Reliability: on the premise of stable structure of LED display screen, combined with the actual situation on site, balance each stress fulcrum, and the bearing force of the structure shall be greater than 20% of the weight of the display screen itself;

3)         Integrity: in addition to the installation of the LED display screen itself, it also includes other additional equipment, such as the placement position of sound, exhaust fan, air conditioner, decorative edging, outdoor lightning protection facilities, etc.

4)         Flatness: the flatness of the structure directly affects the flatness of the screen body surface after the installation of the display screen, and has an important impact on the display effect of the display screen. In order to ensure the flatness, the structural frame and the installation box shall be completely combined.

 

4 Indoor conventional module LED display

Structural components: main steel structure, display decorative frame and steel structure fasteners.

 

5 Outdoor column LED display structure

Structure composition of outdoor LED display screen: steel structure main body, decorative edging of display screen, steel structure fasteners, concrete structure, ventilation and heat dissipation and other equipment.

 

6 Precautions for fabrication and installation of steel structure of LED display screen

 

a)         Derusting: before fabrication of steel structure, components shall be derusted by hand and power tools

b)         Correction: the size of steel structure members shall be carefully checked before processing, and they can be processed and constructed only after they are correct

c)         Welding: reasonable welding sequence shall be selected during construction welding, and preheating and other methods shall be adopted to reduce welding deformation

d)         Painting: after the steel structure is fabricated, all steel structures shall be painted with antirust paint. After installation, the parts that are not primed and the repair welding, scratch and paint peeling places shall be primed twice, and then the finish paint shall be applied once. Painting protection shall be carried out regularly during use.

e)         Structural design standard: formulated in accordance with the requirements of code for design of steel structures and code for construction and acceptance of steel structures.

 

f)          Edge wrapping: the edge wrapping size shall be determined according to the size of LED display screen and the size of audio, vent and other equipment.

g)         Two ventilation and heat dissipation systems:

Air conditioning: air conditioning power is directly proportional to the area of LED display screen. The air conditioner is generally placed in the middle and upper part of the outdoor screen; Generally, 1p air conditioning is calculated every 15-20 square meters.
