What is the gray level of full-color LED display?

It is very important to cover the application scope of indoor and outdoor large screens and understand the relevant knowledge of full-color LED display screen. If you are engaged in this industry, you should understand it more clearly.
Grayscale refers to grayscale or grayscale refers to the degree of brightness. In digital display technology, gray level is the decisive factor of color number. Generally speaking, the higher the gray level, the richer the color, the thinner the picture, and the easier it is to show rich details.
The gray level mainly depends on the A / D conversion bits of the system. Of course, the video processing chip, memory and transmission system of the system must provide corresponding bit support. At present, the domestic LED display mainly adopts 8-bit processing system, that is, 256 (28) gray scale. The simple understanding is that there are 256 brightness changes from black to white. RGB primary colors can form 256 * 256 * 256 = 16777216 colors. The so-called 16 trillion color. The international brand display screen mainly adopts 10 bit processing system, i.e. 1024 gray scale, and RGB three primary colors can form 1.07 billion colors.
Gray scale is the decisive factor to determine the number of colors, but it is not unlimited. The larger the better. Firstly, due to the limited human eye resolution, the further progress of the system's processing bits will lead to changes in the video processing, storage, transmission, scanning and other links of the system, resulting in a sharp increase in cost and a decline in cost performance. Generally speaking, 8-bit system can be used for civil or commercial products, and 10 bit system can be used for broadcast products.
